Nishka enjoyed Onam, but was worried about the monkeys raiding the house via the staircase!

Nishka’s Busy ..

She’s busy helping us setup our terrace garden though most of the times she has her own ideas of a garden(or rather a playground)!

Cruising

She started cruising a bit early before she walked, but now she is finding more challenging places to cruise -  on the balcony grill, which is in fact completely covered to make it safe for her.

When my friend Ashish and family visited us, his daughter Ashna(the gymnast) taught some of her tricks to Nishka. Now she is demanding that we bounce her on the ball and tries to clamber up, so we have hidden it from her for a while:)

New face in town!

Nishka is sporting a new look these days! We got her head shaven and she surrendered very meekly to the barber without a whimper!  But she looks good and happy!

Corn-ed !

While she remains a picky eater, it appears that she liked the way it is eaten than what is being eaten!

Jack fruits

We introduced Nishka to jack fruits, the king of fruits in my opinion. While we couldn’t get her to watch plucking the fruit from the tree, we got one which was not cut and sliced. While her father toiled hard to get the fruits out of it, she enjoyed watching and eating it. Usually she is suspicious of any new food, but this one she liked. More pics below
